But through it all, I found strength in my mom, stepdad, friends, and in the sport of lacrosse, which became my healthy outlet and community. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a degree in Child Psychology at Chico State University so I can help other children overcome their own hardships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I was accepted to college, I was uncertain about how I would afford everything I needed to succeed. Thanks to the Brad Fowler Memorial Foundation and Computers 2 Kids, I received both a scholarship and my very first new computer. The moment I got it, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders\u2014now I\u2019ll have the tools I need to do my schoolwork and thrive in college.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thank you to Computers 2 Kids for truly changing the lives of young adults like me.
